Remote collaboration has become of the utmost importance. Whether you are keeping track of your work and experiment records, setting up your workspace, or sharing your methods, our platform aims to provide a solution to remote collaboration.

protocols.io allows you to seamlessly integrate with other applications in order to better enhance your productivity. These four integrations: Slack, RSpace, SciNote, and ORCID, are all available to integrate with our platform.

Slack

The protocols.io Slack application allows you to quickly share your protocols.io files directly in Slack. You are able to share methods with other Slack workspace members, and set the access level seamlessly without leaving the conversation.

• Ability to share protocols.io files with anyone directly in Slack

• Preview of protocols.io files inside your Slack workspace

• Preview of protocols.io groups profiles inside your Slack workspace

If you are looking to use the protocols.io app in private Slack channels, you can choose one of the following options:

• Login into your protocols.io account, open your profile page and click apps. Inside the apps window, click the “Add to Slack” button and complete the authorization flow.

• Paste a link to a protocols.io private file into a public channel, and link your Slack and protocols.io account. *Note that the protocols.io Slack app should already be installed into your workspace.

RSpace

The RSpace and protocols.io integration, aims to help improve your efficiency in the lab. With just a click of a button, you can link and import protocols directly into RSpace, allowing you to modify your experiments.

Once authorized, you can create a new RSpace document or import your protocols from the create menu on RSpace.

SciNote

Our integration with SciNote enables users to import public protocols from protocols.io so that you are able to store all of your research data in one secure place. This integration allows for better organization in your work, and increased communication within your team.

ORCID

ORCID iDs help increase the discoverability of your research. Connecting your ORCID iD to your protocols.io account, allows our platform to post information about your published protocols onto the “Works” section of your ORCID profile.

We collect authenticated ORCID iDs, add the researchers’ names in ORCID to their protocols.io accounts, display ORCID iDs in researchers protocols profiles, and post researchers published protocols onto the “Works” section of their ORCID record.

Bring structure to your research with these protocols.io integrations.
